Lots of people fantasize about a little cottage on the Méditerranée, a glass of wine under the sun, et cetera. The good life. And in the end, it wil remain a dream. We had thought about it too, but about ten years ago we said to each other: let’s give it a chance, just so we will never have to say that we did not even try.

At the time, Debbie had had a busy 25-year career as a producer for Dutch television. The children, Sam and Roos, were 9 and 6 years old at the time and true Amsterdam children. But the time had come for us to find out if a different, sunnier life would suit us too.

We came and never left. Every day, and this is not just talk, we utterly enjoy our life in Catalonia and we hope you will too. We will do our best.
