THE GARROTXA
The Garrotxa is a vast nature reserve and contains the so-called volcano Pyrenees. In fact, this mountain range starts at Banyoles. Our house too is made from volcanic rock, the so-called pumice stone. You can walk here for days and the hike along old donkey trails to the St. Aniol waterfall is famous.
