This place is perfect for adults. The grounds were made for privacy and there are shaded spots everywhere. We have strung up some hammocks here and there. You can walk for hours are enjoy the cultural delights of the cities. The beaches, 30 minutes away, are relatively quiet, small-scale and there are gorgeous coastal paths along the Costa Brava, which is not called the Wild Coast for nothing.

After you have slept in one of our colourful rooms, in one of our perfect beds, there is a copious breakfast awaiting you on the terrace, or if it is a bit chilly, in the large country kitchen. And then, there is nothing better than going out, just the two of you or with more. Soaking up the local culture in the Dalí triangle, shopping for each other’s clothes in Barcelona, and then taking a bus or bike tour through the city. And then back home in the evening where our four course dinner is ready for you. Or, if you succeeded in getting a table, dining in the best restaurant of the world, 15 minutes away from us: El Cellar de Can Roca.

Strolling through the Jewish quarter in Girona, messing about in a rowboat on the Lake of Banyoles, or a copious lunch with our good friends half an hour from here: Castell d’Empordà.
Or leave our house to sniff the fresh air along the several walks we have set out for you in the area.
