Spend four days completely immersed in this Spanish culture a2> completely immerse yourself in this Spanish oasis with culinary indulgence and a relaxing creative challenge is truly a gift for yourself.<\/p>\n

Embroidery is very mindful. The repetitive movements with needle and thread on soft fabric feel wonderful. Creating something with your hands brings peace to your mind. Most of the time, anyway\u2014sometimes it\u2019s a challenge ;-). <\/p>\n

Embroidery Adventure<\/strong>
\nDuring these four days, you\u2019ll create your own unique free-style embroidery. Especially for this workshop, I\u2019ve researched Mexican-Spanish techniques and created designs. I\u2019ll teach you Mexican techniques for colorful embroidery on a garment. These designs also work beautifully on a pillow, wall hanging, or table runner. Of course, you can also embroider and decorate a photo printed on fabric in a Spanish-Mexican style. I\u2019ll bring embroidery designs featuring flowers\u2014for flowers on clothing, flowers in a vase, flowers on a photo, flowers\u2026 <\/p>\n

You embroider whatever you like in your favorite colors and style.<\/p>\n

I’ll contact you in advance to discuss your preferences so I can make the necessary preparations.<\/p>\n

What’s included?<\/strong>
\nMy guidance beforehand, for example, to help you choose a photo for embroidery and flesh out your ideas. This way, we can start planning what your larger project will look like. <\/p>\n

I\u2019ll guide you through the embroidery process on-site\u2014choosing the design, the stitches, the colors\u2014all in consultation with you. You\u2019ll receive an embroidery starter kit and a goodie bag that includes, among other things, an embroidery hoop and a photo printed on fabric. You\u2019ll receive an email well before your arrival with information and questions so that I can take your personal preferences into account. <\/p>\n

In addition, you can, of course, use all of my embroidery supplies; I\u2019ll bring along examples and some inspiring books.<\/p>\n

Four days and a total of three nights in unique accommodations at Can Portell, either in the house or in the garden. The rooms are usually double rooms with two separate beds; sometimes you\u2019ll share the bathroom, which may be located outside your room. <\/p>\n

The cost for this all-inclusive and exclusive embroidery retreat in 2026 is \u20ac775 per person.<\/p>\n
