Mornings full of colourful inspiration
Every morning, we immerse ourselves in a world of paint, paper, pencil and collage. We paint, sketch, cut and paste, with one goal: bringing your dream flowers to life on canvas. No experience needed – just an open heart and a desire to create.
Free afternoons & evenings
The rest of the day is entirely yours. Explore the charming village, continue painting in the sunshine, read a book under an olive tree or enjoy a siesta. In the evening, we sit down together for a delicious meal prepared by our amazing chef and enjoy everything that Can Portell has to offer.

The more colourful, the better…
…and preferably with a generous amount of sunshine – that’s one of my mottos. And that’s why I think my match with Debbie, and therefore Can Portell, is truly a match made in heaven!
I always paint from the heart, without a predetermined plan. I let myself be guided by the inspiration around me and by the canvas.
As a self-taught artist, another motto of mine is: if I can do it, so can you!
It’s actually not just a motto, but also a promise. One of my favourite moments during my workshops is when someone arrives somewhat sceptically, saying, “I’m just here for the experience/the fun,” and afterwards looks at their own artwork with complete wonder and pride. I can’t wait to witness this under the Spanish sun at Debbie’s beautiful B&B and embark on a colourful adventure together.
